Who can use Roberts Pavilion?
Roberts Pavilion is open for recreational use by Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps Students, Faculty, and Staff. Users must bring a valid school ID to enter the building.
Can Claremont Graduate University (CGU) Students and Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) Students use Roberts Pavilion?
CGU and KGI Students can use Roberts Pavilion after purchasing a semester membership pass ($250/semester). For purchasing options, contact recreation@cms.claremont.edu. Users must check in at the front desk when entering the building.
Can I bring a guest?
Guests 18 years of age or older accompanying Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, or Scripps Students, Faculty, and Staff are eligible to use Roberts Pavilion. The three options for guest passes are:
- Single-day guest passes ($10/day)
- Week-long guest passes ($25/week)
- Semester-long guest passes ($250/semester)
Guest passes are available at the front desk for purchase. The Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, or Scripps Students, Faculty, or Staff must be present at the time of purchase. Waivers must be filled out by the guests at the time of purchase.
What are Roberts Pavilion’s hours?

- Monday-Friday: 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Q: Are locker and shower facilities available?
Showers and day-use lockers are available for faculty and staff in the locker rooms located on the first level of the facility, in the south hallway (adjacent to Sports Medicine). Additional day-use lockers are located on the first level of the fitness center, in the strength training room, as well as on the south hallway adjacent to Sports Medicine. All day-use lockers must be cleared by the end of the day.

Q: How do I access Axelrood Pool?
Axelrood Pool is only open for recreational use by Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps Students, Faculty, and Staff. Subject to change, the hours can be found here.
Q: How do I access Burns Track and Zinda Field?
Burns Track and Zinda Field are only open for recreational use by Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps Students, Faculty, and Staff. The following take precedence:
- CMS athletics
- PE classes
- CMC approved events
- CMS approved reservations
